The full package (Premium Package) of equipment really makes a difference in the time needed to wind and beam your own warps. Ideally used when making warps of up to 5 threads (wound together), warp making time is significantly reduced. Once beamed and threaded, all done at the unit, you simply remove the entire warp roll, harnesses and reed, fix into your loom and you are away and weaving.

Available in 2 different packages from Art Weaver SAORI Studio:

Basic Package is for use only to assist in threading pre-wound warps with versions available to suit all 60cm looms (WX60, SX60, CH60) the Piccolo40 and the WX90 looms. This simpler option requires you to use the removable back warp beam from your own loom. 

Note: This is not adequate for use with your hand made warps.

Premium Package is for use both in threading pre-wound warps AND beaming your own hand wound warps, making them into a pre-wound warp roll. It can then be threaded directly at the table top unit or stored until needed (versions available to suit WX60, SX60, CH60, Piccolo40  and WX90 looms). This is the complete and most versatile unit.

By placing the unit on a tabletop, you can adjust your seat/stool to get the best alignment for easy threading through the heddles and reed. If needed, a lamp can be placed nearby for improved lighting. With the harnesses/reed in closer alignment, compared to threading at the loom, it definitely makes the job easier.
