In our experience, we have found the most popular looms are the SAORI WX60 and the SAORI Piccolo40 looms. Both are beautifully designed and easy to use and we keep regular stock of these two models in our studio here.

A great option for anyone who has physical limitations is the fixed frame  CH60A-2 loom (wheelchair accessible & height adjustable). All these SAORI  loom models are available for you to use at Art Weaver SAORI Studio.

 

 

Assembly and adjustment of all looms is done by our in-house loom expert. See below for an overview of the specifics of the SAORI WX60 and the SAORI Piccolo40 loom.

SAORI WX 60

The SAORI WX60 loom, is made of beautiful wood and foldable for transport and storage. You can fold and unfold the loom instantly. It has excellent durability and stability.

SAORI WX60

  • Maximum warp width 60cm (any warp width up to max is possible)
  • High-quality birch wood frame
  • Folds easily for transport and storage.
  • Built-in bobbin winder
  • Built in shelf
  • The rubber friction warp control pedal lets you advance the warp while remaining seated.
  • Stainless steel reed (5 dents/cm). Other size reeds available on order.
  • Wire heddles have larger holes to make threading easier.
  • Harness cord stoppers are pre-installed.
  • A 4-shaft spring system can be attached at a future time if required

SAORI Piccolo 40

SAORI Piccolo40  is a revolutionary hand weaving loom with both comfort and portability for weavers of all ages. Its lightweight metal tubing body has two height settings (stnd. adult & small child) and easily folds for transport.

 

Due to its lightweight and small dimensions, this loom is particularly recommended for weavers who require an easily portable loom or for very limited spaces. For adults 160cm and above, we can supply a AWS height extender kit (see below).

SAORI Piccolo40

  • Maximum warp width 40cm (any warp width up to max is possible)
  • Lightweight but strong body with beautifully chrome-plated metal tubing frame
  • Folds easily for transport and storage
  • The position of the breast beam is height adjustable: 60cm and 68cm
  • Built-in bobbin winder
  • Built-in shelf
  • The warp control lever lets you advance the warp while remaining seated
  • Wire heddles have larger holes to make threading easier
  • Stainless steel reed (comes with standard reed 5 dents/cm). Other reed sizes available on order
  • A ready-made warp is set up on the loom so that you can start weaving after 15 minutes assembly

LOOM ASSEMBLY & SERVICE

 

All SAORI looms sold by our studio are assembled on site, adjusted and fully checked by our very own engineer Greg.  If ordered, height risers and wheels will also be fitted.

We are confident to offer FREE servicing of all SAORI looms sold by Art Weaver SAORI Studio.

 

We also offer loom servicing for a fee to anyone experiencing problems or difficulties with their SAORI loom to ensure it is functioning perfectly and provide many years of weaving pleasure.
