This wonderful SAORI design allows you to clip the warp thread ends instead of tying them! Using this clipping rod means you can much more quickly set up for weaving.
The standard length clipping rod of 55cm (21.7″) is included with all SAORI 60cm loom purchases. You can also purchase a longer clipping rod (59cm (23.3″) which is very helpful with a 60cm wide warp.
The clipping rod to suit the SAORI WX90 loom is 88cm long.

Description
When removing your handwoven cloth from the loom and you wish to continue weaving on the same warp, we recommend releasing the clipping rod at the front of your cloth.
Allow the cloth to hang in front of the reed (which creates an even tension in the warp). Next, position the clipping rod on the shuttle shelf under the warp and fit the slat into the rod.
Only then, cut the warp a few cms below the clipping rod. You can then follow your usual method of rotating the rod for 3 half-turns, attaching the loops at the ends of the cords and re-tension the warp ready for your next weaving session.
The SAORI Clipping Rod is truly a great time saver for weavers!
Please Note: The longer clipping rod (59cm) is NOT suitable for use with the CH60 looms due to the loom frame dimensions.
